A Pairrd alternative where you build the quizzes

Poker Unity is a free alternative to Pairrd for drilling poker decisions. Instead of a daily set written by a coach, you build your own quizzes — up to 100 questions in 10 answer formats — or turn any preflop spot in a solver strategy into a question whose answer key is the solver's own mix. It has no coach-made curriculum and no video lessons; if that is what you are paying for, Pairrd is still the answer.

Building quizzes, taking them and browsing the Solver Library are free — no subscription, no trial, no card.

Why people move across

The answer key is your solver, not a summary of it

Import a solver strategy, tick the preflop spots you want, and each becomes a question. Hands are dealt as often as they reach the spot, takers can pick every action in a mix, and the reveal shows the solver's frequency and EV for each choice.

You choose which hands get asked

Skip the hands with one obvious answer, or hand-pick the ones worth drilling, so a ten-hand question is ten real decisions. Add the legal actions a push/fold solve leaves out, so the buttons do not give the answer away.

A study group is a link

Share a quiz as a link, set attempts, a time limit and a pass mark, and show the top scorers on the result page. The same quiz works for one player on a phone or a coach running a whole stable.

What Poker Unity does not do

  • It does not come with a ready-made curriculum. There is no daily set written by a coach; the quizzes are ones you build, or ones someone shares with you.
  • Solver import is preflop only. A postflop spot in a solver strategy cannot become a question yet.
  • There are no video lessons inside a quiz. A question can carry an explanation in text and images, not a video.

Stay on Pairrd if you want a coach to write the spots for you — a daily set of quizzes, video explanations, postflop drills and a ready-made tournament curriculum are what it is built around.

Questions

Is Poker Unity a free alternative to Pairrd?
Yes. Building quizzes, taking them and browsing the Solver Library are free — no subscription, no trial, no card. What you get is the tools to make quizzes, not a set of quizzes made for you.
Does it come with daily quizzes like Pairrd?
No. There is no daily set written by a coach. You build quizzes yourself — from a solver strategy, a range you paint, a hand you played or a spot you set up — or take ones other players share as a link.
Can I make a quiz from my own solver output?
Yes, for preflop. Import a solver strategy, tick the spots you want, and each one becomes a question whose answer key is the solver's mix, with its EVs shown on the reveal. Postflop spots cannot be imported yet.
Can I stop it asking about obvious hands?
Yes. Pick exactly which hands a question deals, or skip every hand where one action is played 90% of the time or more. You can also add legal actions the solver never takes, so a push/fold spot is not given away by having only two buttons.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the browser, so a quiz opens the same way on a phone, a tablet, a Mac or a PC, with nothing to install.

Look before you build
